Updates to Golden 1 Center Events


Sacramento, Calif. – Last night, the NBA announced the suspension of the season until further notice. Additionally, the California Department of Public Health released an updated policy regarding limiting large gatherings across the state of California for the remainder of March to slow the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our fans, guests, employees, partners and community has always been, and will always be, our top priority. 

The following Golden 1 Center events have been postponed or cancelled:

  • Sacramento Kings Games – The NBA season is currently suspended. Tickets already purchased for a postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If games are not played or played in an empty-arena, fans will have the option to receive a credit for a future game or a refund. Fans can visit Kings.com where ticket and future schedule information will be announced. Fans can visit Kings.com/Postponed for information on refunds.
  • 2020 CIF State Basketball Championships – The California Interscholastic Federation has cancelled all remaining CIF State Basketball Championship games, including the games planned for March 13 and 14 at Golden 1 Center. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster.com will be processed automatically.
  • 2020 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship – The NCAA has cancelled the Division I men's and women's 2020 basketball tournaments, including the games planned for March 20 and 22 at Golden 1 Center. Refunds are being issued for tickets purchased from an official NCAA Championship vendor. For more information, click here.
  • JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour – This event, originally planned for Wednesday, March 25, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced soon. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • V101 Heart of Hip-Hop – This event, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28, has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2020. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama – Both events, originally scheduled for April 1, are postponed and the rescheduled date will be announced soon. Currently held tickets for both events will be honored at the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • Celine Dion’s Courage World Tour – This concert, originally scheduled for April 7, is postponed and the rescheduled date will be announced soon. Ticket holders will receive more information shortly and should keep their original tickets to use at the rescheduled date.
  • Billie Eilish’s “Where Do We Go?” World Tour – This concert, originally scheduled for April 8, is postponed and the rescheduled date will be announced soon. Ticket holders will receive more information shortly and should keep their original tickets to use at the rescheduled date later this year.
  • Lauren Daigle World Tour – This concert, originally set for April 16, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 13. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations. 
  • Cher’s “Here We Go Again” Tour – This concert, originally planned for May 6 at Golden 1 Center has been postponed until Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • Gabriel Iglesias’s “Beyond the Fluffy” World Tour – This event, originally planned for May 9, has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2020. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • Sacramento State Graduations – These events, originally scheduled for May 15 through 17 at Golden 1 Center, have been postponed.
  • Justin Bieber’s “Changes” Tour – This event, originally planned for May 19 at Golden 1 Center, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date to be announced. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
  • Camila Cabello’s “The Romance” Tour – This event, originally scheduled for August 4 at Golden 1 Center, has been postponed. More information will be made available soon.
  • World Butchers’ Challenge – This event, originally planned for September 4 and 5 at Golden 1 Center, has been postponed until August 13 and 14, 2021. Ticket holders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled date.
  • Roger Waters “This is Not a Drill” Tour – This event, originally planned for September, 23, at Golden 1 Center has been postponed and a rescheduled date will be announced soon. Currently held tickets will be honored for the new date, and no action is needed if guests want to keep their current tickets and seat locations.
