
Shawn Mendes Brings ‘Wonder’ to Golden 1 Center

Shawn Mendes made his third U.S. stop on his ‘Wonder: World Tour’ in Sacramento on June 30, selling out Golden 1 Center.

Mendes’ fans, affectionately known as the Mendes Army, were excited to hear their favorite songs and hoped for an up-close view of the show.

Mendes opened with his 2020 viral hit “Wonder” and played top songs such as “Senorita” and “Stitches” from past albums, along with new tracks from his most recent album, also titled “Wonder”. Mendes finished off the show with his 2019 Grammy-nominated song, In My Blood.
Mendes posted a compilation of photos from the show on Instagram and Twitter while showing love to Sacramento in the caption.

Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy opened the show for his debut Sacramento performance. Mendes praised Kennedy’s music, recalling his first tour, where, after the shows, Mendes would often go to his tour bus and listen to Kennedy’s music.
