METALLICA SETS NEW CONCERT ATTENDANCE RECORD AT SACRAMENTO’S GOLDEN 1 CENTER
17,281 fans in arena for sold-out show
Golden 1 Center, the most technologically advanced and sustainable arena in the world, welcomed 17,281 Metallica fans at tonight’s sold-out concert, setting a new single-concert attendance record since the arena opened in October 2016.
“Golden 1 Center continues to prove itself as an entertainment destination and it’s an honor to welcome Metallica for a record-breaking performance,” said President of Business Operations John Rinehart. “We have such a passionate entertainment fanbase, and I’m thankful Metallica could help us celebrate such a special evening.”
In the past few weeks, Golden 1 Center has seen performances from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Stirling, Kevin Hart and numerous Kings games. Upcoming shows will include Travis Scott, WWE: Monday Night Raw, Elton John and A$AP Rocky.
