Latin GRAMMY® winners and GRAMMY® nominees Grupo Frontera officially announce the U.S. dates for their “Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour,” a run that will take the Texan band to some of the country’s most important arenas and will mark the group’s most ambitious tour in the U.S. to date and includes a stop in Sacramento at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday, August 12.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. For ticket information, please visit Golden1Center.com.
Presented by Live Nation, the tour represents a new step in the band’s trajectory following the release of their third studio album, “Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar.” The project reaffirmed the group’s identity by combining raw emotion with the norteño-cumbia sound that has defined them.
The tour’s name takes inspiration from the song “Triste Pero Bien Cabrón,” their collaboration with Myke Towers featured on their latest album “Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar.” More than just a phrase, the concept reflects an attitude present throughout their music: acknowledging heartbreak without dramatizing it, embracing what hurts, and moving forward with character. That same energy is what the band will bring to the stage throughout this new tour.
The announcement arrives at a pivotal moment for the group. Grupo Frontera recently earned their first two GRAMMY® nominations in the category Best Música Mexicana Album for their EPs “Y Lo Que Viene” and “Mala Mía,” the latter alongside Fuerza Regida, marking a major milestone in their international career. Additionally, during a promotional visit to Colombia, the band previewed in an interview their upcoming single “Imposible” with Silvestre Dangond, set to be released on March 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The song marks their first musical release of the year and the first official collaboration between both artists.
