With an exhilarating entrance by helicopter, Latin music icon GLORIA TREVI arrived at Peacock Place in Los Angeles, to receive dozens of guests and hundreds of fans who gathered to witness a special announcement by one of Latin America’s most successful female singer-songwriters. With an atmosphere full of excitement and euphoria, Trevi officially announced “Mi Soundtrack World Tour 2024”.
The anticipated world tour, produced by Live Nation, Great Talent Entertainment and Latino Live, will open in Hidalgo, Texas on January 26, 2024. Scheduled to visit over 30 cities across the U. S., the tour will make a triumphant return to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, after an emotional and moving opening show of her previous tour “Isla Divina World Tour”. The tour will stop at Golden 1 Center on Saturday, February 10.
Tickets go on sale starting Thursday, October 12 at 10 am at Golden 1 Center.com.
With an avant-garde and elegant show, Trevi will showcase her evolution through new versions of her iconic classics and new original tracks that represent the different moments of her life. The concept of the tour was inspired by the release of Trevi’s soundtrack to life, “Mi Soundtrack” (Vol. 1 and Vol. Two), a compilation of newly recorded versions of her classic hits “Pelo Suelto,” “Dr. Psiquiatra” and “Con los Ojos Cerrados,” among others, and will give life to newly released tracks like “Medusa,” “Que Se Acabe El Mundo” and “Siempre Yo”, among others. “She is without a doubt, Gloria Trevi. An artist in constant timeless evolution, and I want to share it with the audience that has always followed and supported me unconditionally, and with their eyes closed throughout the years,” said Gloria Trevi, who assures it will be a modern tour. In addition, advocating for new and emerging talent as she previously did for Colombian star Karol G, Trevi has tapped MAR Solis as the opening act for multiple shows on the first leg of the tour.
As one of the most influential, relevant and inspiring Latin artists of all time, GLORIA TREVI began 2023 with the same passion and fury that characterizes the most successful Latin American female singer-songwriter today. Breaking records in both music and touring, Trevi made a triumphant return this year to Pollstar’s Live 75 chart, given multiple performances in Mexico and Latin America, including a total of 10 sold outs in less than a year at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico, as well as sold-out shows at the Movistar Arena in Chile and Arena 1 in Lima, Peru.
This summer, Trevi released her first single as an independent artist, “Medusa”, which peaked No. 1 at radio in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador, and instantly became an anthem for fans around the world. Her anticipated bioseries, “Ellas Soy Yo, Gloria Trevi” became the most streamed original series on the Latin digital platform ViX, and its television premiere in Mexico on Canal de Estrellas took audience numbers by storm with 6.3 million viewers tuning in. Simultaneous to the bioseries, Trevi released “Mi Soundtrack” Vol. 1 and Vol. DOS, both debuting No. 1 on Apple Music in Mexico, while Vol. DOS also debuted at No. 1 in Spain and Ireland, respectively.
