John Mayer Preps To Take Sacramento To ‘Wonderland’

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer is set to hit the Golden 1 Center stage this Saturday, April 8, and is receiving praise for the intimate, individualistic energy he is bringing to his shows. Performing with only his instruments behind him, Mayor takes the audience on a personal journey through his music.

“It takes someone extra special to be able to stand on a stage, completely by yourself with no band behind you, in front of an arena full of people. But when you realize that someone is John Mayer, all doubt goes out the window because you know he’s got this,” – Loud Hailer

“John Mayer struck all the right cords on Saturday night. The show was simple, honest, and fun. There were times when it felt more like watching your friend play down the street at a local bar than watching one of the greatest musicians of his generation play in a packed arena,” – The Rock Revival

“The seven-time Grammy winner was mostly an acoustic strummer, which added a certain intimacy to this fireside-like performance in an oversized living room on a snow-covered night,” – Star Tribune

“There’s no tour in my entire life I’ve thought about more than this one,’ Mayer told the sold-out crowd at the Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday night,” – App.com

“Mayer looked and sounded fantastic, taking the stage in a plain green T-shirt, faded jeans and boots and his hair in JFK Jr. Mode,” – River Front Times
