Golden 1 Center Artists Shine at the 2019 Country Music Awards

On November 13, country artists from all over came together to celebrate the Country Music Awards. They showed up in their finest gowns and suits (or in Blake Shelton’s case, his nicest jeans), and put on a spectacular show for the night.

Some of our very own Golden 1 Center artists were in attendance!

Eric Church earned himself three nominations. Even though he didn’t take home any awards this time around, he’s still a winner to us! He performed “Some of It,” which makes us even more excited to see him in Sacramento on November 22 and 23!

Carrie Underwood hosted alongside Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, and they had a lot of fun throughout the night making jokes and performing together. She performed “Drinking Alone” in a stunning all black ensemble. She put on an amazing show, which is no surprise, because she wowed everyone in Sacramento earlier this year.

Kacey Musgraves, who opened for Harry Styles in 2018, won two of the three awards she was nominated for. Before taking home the awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year, Musgraves stunned on the red carpet. She also performed with the legendary Willie Nelson.

Luke Combs, who hit the Golden 1 Center stage in October, had a great night! After walking the carpet with his wife, he secured two awards of his own: Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Beautiful Crazy”. He also performed, getting the crowd on their feet with “Beer Never Broke My Heart”.

Some of our other favorite artists had a successful night. Blake Shelton, coming to Sacramento next February, won Single of the Year for “God’s Country.” He also performed the same song that earned him his win.

Miranda Lambert also attended, performing “It All Comes Out In The Wash”. Her performance makes us even more excited to see her take the Golden 1 Center stage next February!

Dan + Shay were also in attendance, racking up 4 nominations. They won Vocal Duo of the Year, and performed “Speechless”. We are expecting to be left speechless when the duo comes to Sacramento next October.

The night was full of great music and laughs. We are so happy for all our winning artists, and we can’t wait for our upcoming country shows!
