by Delaney Howard
2019 was a jam-packed year! It was so amazing, in fact, that we couldn’t choose just one favorite moment! Here are 9 of our most memorable moments of 2019!
1. Elton John
In January, we were lucky enough to have Elton John join us for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. In true Elton John fashion, he wore a dazzling suit and stunned the crowd as he cruised around the stage on a moving piano. It was a night full of classic music, bling-heavy sunglasses, and love.
KISS rocked the arena, and fans from all over came decked out in KISS fashion with hair and makeup that rivaled the band’s.
3. Justin Timberlake
A night we’ll never forget: Justin Timberlake brought his The Man of the Woods Tour to Sacramento in February, putting on a show that seemed otherworldly. The sold-out crowd was eager to witness JT’s legendary dance moves and iconic songs!
She not only graced the Golden 1 Center stage, but she awed the crowd with her aerobatics and jaw-dropping stunts. Sounding even better live, the superstar put on a show that will be hard to forget.
5. Ariana Grande
With her beautiful vocals, entertaining dancers, and the moon (yeah, seriously), Ariana captivated the audience throughout the entire night. Her hit songs, such as "7 Rings" and "thank u, next" had everyone on their feet, singing along to every word.
6. Shawn Mendes
In the crowd for Michael Buble’s performance was Shawn Mendes, who performed the day after! Shawn wooed the crowd with his ballads and guitar playing. The sold-out crowd was not disappointed.
7. Post Malone
Proving that his song “rockstar” is a completely accurate way of describing the man himself, Post Malone put on a show that just had to be on our list! He performed other hit songs, such as “Better Now” and “Sunflower” with Swae Lee.
8. Jonas Brothers
After a decade, the JoBros returned to Sacramento! Performing classics and their new songs, it was a fun night that included special guest appearances from the Jonas Wives!
9. Luke Combs
Beer never broke our hearts, and neither has Luke Combs! He did not disappoint, and the sold-out crowd showed a lot of love.
