The Eagles Surpass Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' As Best-Selling Album of All Time

The Eagles officially have the best selling album of all time in the US, surpassing Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
The Eagles’ ‘Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975)’, originally released in 1976, took the title this week as confirmed with the Recording Industry Association Of America. The compilation is now certified 38-times platinum, a combination of album sales and streams.
"In a statement, The Eagles’ Don Henley said: “We are grateful for our families, our management, our crew, the people at radio and, most of all, the loyal fans who have stuck with us through the ups and downs of 46 years. It’s been quite a ride.”
Known for these greatest hits The Eagles are a favorite to many. Although, “The Eagles’ biggest hit, Hotel California, is not included on the compilation as it was released in 1977 – the album of the same name is now the third-biggest selling record in the US.”
