Social Recap: California Classic at Golden 1 Center
Kacie Van Stiphout
Day 1 of the California Classic gave us nothing but great vibes – both on the court and outside the arena.
Fans flocked to Golden 1 Center to see the second annual summer league in Sacramento that once again featured the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat.
After the Kings defeated the Warriors in the second game of the double-header, T-Pain closed out first-day festivities with a memorable show under the night sky of the DOCO Plaza Concert Series presented by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.

To celebrate the NBA’s first games in India this October, in which the Kings will face the Indiana Pacers, Day 2 of the California Classic featured Indian-themed activations, including traditional entertainment and food.
After the Kings faced the Heat, international pop star Jay Sean performed outside the Golden 1 Center grand entrance to close out a memorable second day of summer hoops.

.@jaysean getting the party going on the DOCO Plaza outside @Golden1Center following Day 2 of the #CaliforniaClassic! Always dope seeing the windows of the grand entrance opened up so folks can still get a view of the action outside from inside the arena! @ABC10 pic.twitter.com/dB8LB4H7Qv

Overall the #CaliforniaClassic was once again a tremendous success. Now, the painful realization that we have to wait until October for Kings basketball to return to the @Golden1Center.
