Day 1 of the California Classic gave us nothing but great vibes – both on the court and outside the arena.
Fans flocked to Golden 1 Center to see the second annual summer league in Sacramento that once again featured the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat.
After the Kings defeated the Warriors in the second game of the double-header, T-Pain closed out first-day festivities with a memorable show under the night sky of the DOCO Plaza Concert Series presented by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.
To celebrate the NBA’s first games in India this October, in which the Kings will face the Indiana Pacers, Day 2 of the California Classic featured Indian-themed activations, including traditional entertainment and food.
After the Kings faced the Heat, international pop star Jay Sean performed outside the Golden 1 Center grand entrance to close out a memorable second day of summer hoops.

Always dope seeing the windows of the grand entrance opened up so folks can still get a view of the action outside from inside the arena! @ABC10 pic.twitter.com/dB8LB4H7Qv— Lina Washington (@LWashingtonTV) July 3, 2019
The final day of the California Classic was all about the kids, as a family theme welcomed visitors to Day 3, featuring the Heat vs. Warriors in Game 1 and Lakers vs. Kings in Game 2.
With another successful slate of summer games, concerts and entertainment, it’s no wonder the California Classic had Sacramento social buzzing!
