Plan Your Path to March Madness at Golden 1 Center

The Road to the Final Four starts in Sacramento at Golden 1 Center. But how will you find your way downtown for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championships?

With the help of a few planning tools and Sacramento services, you can plan your route to Golden 1 Center well in advance.

Sacramento Regional Transit will offer free Light Rail rides to event ticket holders on March 17. Take advantage of the Pay-Park-Ride lots and then hop on the Blue or Gold line for free. Both lines head straight to Golden 1 Center with stations only one block away. With multiple safe and user-friendly Pay-Park-Ride lots, fans from any direction can find their way downtown.

Visit GoSacRT.com for more information.

If you aren’t planning on riding Light Rail to head to Golden 1 Center, you can reserve your parking spot ahead of time by visiting SacPark – the city’s online parking portal – or utilizing the Sacramento Kings + Golden 1 Center app. Through SacPark.org, as well as the Sacramento Kings + Golden 1 Center app on your mobile phone, you’ll find day-long parking options within walking distance of the arena.

Reserve your spot here and download the Sacramento Kings + Golden 1 Center app today.

Don’t forget that Golden 1 Center has exclusive rideshare and taxi drop off zones, as well as a fully-staffed and secure bike valet program at Cesar Chavez park. Learn more about each program and additional transportation option at Golden1Center.com.
