P!nk Pauses Concert To Comfort A Fan
By Amanda Maxwell
Showing us her big heart once again, PInk helped make a fan's night a little better at her show in Brisbane, Australia.
Leah Murphy, the fan, attended P!nk's concert that evening and made a special sign in hopes of catching the singer's attention. With the help of the fans around her, it worked.
A month before the show, Leah’s mother passed away and she was supposed to attend the show with her daughter.
In a touching moment, PInk walked down to the crowd in the middle of the show to give a hug to comfort the young girl, telling Leah, “You’re going to be okay.”
Leah’s aunt took her to the concert, and recalls, “I haven’t seen her (Murphy) smile so much since,” Donkin told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. “Her dad said he woke up feeling happy today, happier than he has been in a long time.”
After hugging the fan, Pink returned to the stage saying, “everyone call your mom.” Encouraging that her fans hold their close ones always.
