Golden 1 Center Upgrades Event Booking Program, Expands Access to Premium Spaces and Industry-Leading Event Management Team

Today, Golden 1 Center, the world’s most technologically advanced arena and entertainment venue, announced that spaces throughout the arena are available for private event rentals ranging in size from 10 to 17,500 people, capable of accommodating holiday parties, company meetings, trade shows, social events and much more. For the first time, premium lounges – including Rush, Assembly by Crown Royal and Lexus Lounge located courtside and Croft located on the Suite level – are available to rent for special events. Over 20 event spaces throughout the arena are now available for private rentals and offer ultimate customization, capable of intimate to open flow events for a wide range of experiences.

Additionally, customers will now have access to a fully integrated event management team to make hosting private events a seamless experience.  When booking, customers will have flexible and affordable pricing options to meet a wide range of budgets and the ability to work with the innovative Golden 1 Center culinary team to create custom menus.

“Combining innovation and iconic design, Golden 1 Center offers a wide range of spaces that are perfectly suited for any occasion to bring people together,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart. “We’re thrilled to open the arena to groups of all sizes to book their next celebration, meeting or special event with access to our incredible staff offering best in class service.”

Additional spaces available to rent include the Grand Entrance, Arena Floor, Concourse, Sierra Nevada Draught House, Junction by Bud Light, the world’s firstesports and content studio located inside a professional sports venue and the Downtown Commons Plaza.

Golden 1 Center is open for business and in August, Dutch Bros Coffee, the largest privately held drive-through coffee chain, took over the arena for a privately hosted event for the company’s “broistas” and executive team members. Golden 1 Center provided start-to-finish event and food management for the group of nearly 1,800, as well as audio/visual and production assistance for the event’s programming seminar, games and activations. The day-long event concluded with concert performances by musical artists CVBZ, KYLE and Khalid.

“Golden 1 Center’s 360-degree event management was tremendously valuable to the success of our annual Coacha event, “said Dutch Bros Coffee Event Manager Annie Garrison. “Whether it was arranging locally sourced catering or ensuring our event went off as planned, the Golden 1 Center team was hands on, paid attention to detail and helped us elevate our event to a new level.“

The Kings were named the “Most Innovative Company in Sports” by Fast Company and “Most Tech-Savvy Team of 2016” by SportTechie. Golden 1 Center was the first arena in North America awarded LEED Platinum status and was named the “Most Sustainable Arena in the World” by the Green Sports Alliance. Innovative sustainability policies in place include being the first indoor arena to be 100 percent solar powered, operating an unmatched food program where 90 percent of the food and beverage program is sourced from within 150 miles of the arena, and partnering with local food banks to distribute unserved food items through the community.
