Golden 1 Center Donates Food to Local Community Amid COVID-19 Public Health Crisis

The Sacramento Kings and Legends Hospitality have donated all prepared and perishable food items on hand at Golden 1 Center to the Sacramento County Office of Education and the Sacramento Food Bank to help feed community members impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis.

  • Today, all perishable goods on hand (approx. 4,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables) were donated to the Sacramento County Office of Education to assist efforts to provide meals to families throughout Sacramento County that have been affected by the recent school closures.
  • Following the cancelled game on Wednesday, nearly 1,000 pounds of prepared food was donated to the Sacramento Food Bank to feed those in need.

The health and well-being of our community is our top priority. We are committed to looking out for one another as we all navigate this uncertain time together.
