Artists Pay Tribute To Legend Aretha Franklin

The “Queen of Soul” passed away and many artists are posting in remembrance of the legend. An influence to many artists, Aretha Franklin is a talent that will be greatly missed.

Aretha. Where do I start? Your voice and your spirit and soul has leaked into my heart and mind and spirit since I was a child. One of the very first songs I remember hearing as a human was ‘I say a little prayer’. Every year I listen to your voice more than I did the year before and like an old friend the bond I have with your talent and music gets deeper and deeper. Farewell Mrs Franklin. You may have left this world but your music walks through our lives with us, getting us through, healing our broken hearts, teaching us how to love ourselves. Like a bridge over troubled water x
